FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW, FDA-CLEARED ANTI-AGING DEVICE COMBINES
COLLAGEN STIMULATION, CLEANSING
New Sonulase® Lights the Way to More Radiant Skin
HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. (December 1, 2015) – Renew Lab today announced the debut of its newest skin care device: Sonulase®: the world’s first skin cleansing brush to combine the clinically-proven collagen and elastin stimulation of RED Light and the antibacterial power of UV Light into one cordless device. Promising ‘skin that glows,’ Sonulase® represents Renew Lab’s first in a line of “Intelligent Brushes” and its second foray into the $10.7 billion skin care device market¹. The Company’s first device, Crystalift™, the first at-home microdermabrasion device, was launched 6 years ago and quickly gained a following.
Renew Lab Founder and Sonulase® Inventor Jon David said, “We’ve been primarily known for developing devices for professional, in-office use. Sonulase® represents a jump for us into the brush segment but a leap-forward in terms of anti-aging skin benefit. RED Light at 660nm has been clinically proven to stimulate collagen re-growth under the skin.”
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, but by age 25, production all but stops. As a fibrous tissue, it plumps facial skin meaning there are fewer lines. For decades, topical creams promised to rejuvenate aging skin, and in recent years, fillers injected under the skin proliferated on the market as a temporary and costly fix, but neither actually stimulated natural collagen growth that could be sustained like the effects of regular RED Light therapy.
RED Light for collagen is not new. It was originally developed by NASA to treat astronauts’ damaged skin in orbit – it was discovered that RED light actually stimulated collagen re-growth.
Besides RED Light, the new Sonulase® brush is equipped with the antibacterial power of UV Light to help eliminate bacteria on the brush when not in use, keeping it sanitary.
The Company expects to launch another addition to its Intelligent Brushes line in 2016.
Sonulase® is available at www.Sonulase.com and carries a suggested retail of $249.
